Town of Sisak (or Sisik) - Description

The town of Sisak is the newest town in the Arch-Duchy of Hemel. It has grown from a small farming village into a town under the direction of Baron Fangrip. Thirty years ago the village was plagued by an evil necromancer. A hardy band of adventurers came at the direction of the Arch-Duke to investigate. Baron Fangrip was among them. He was made a baron afterwards.

  1. Keep of Baron Fangrip: He is 55 years old (vartith/12th rank warrior). He is married to the Lady Sernui and they have four children. Twin boys age 23, Torog and Toreah and twin girls age 17, Delmi and Dorna.

    1. Barracks and Stable -- This is the home to 40 medium calvary. They are known as the "Ranges of the Southern March". The Baron's sons are currently serving as co-commanders of the "Rangers".

  2. Jeweler (human/Mallen Harondor) makes quality items at fair prices. He is always looking to buy uncut gem stones.

  3. Timberwright (vartith/Ciril Rammas) provides timber and boards for everyone in the barony.

  4. Vinter (human/Angus Narwon) makes mostly table wines (average quality) but does make a fine quality apple wine know as "Sisak Golden".

  5. Mountain Inn (human/Losnack Perhael) This is a four star inn. Only private and two person rooms are available. Losnack is known for his excellent baking skills. To stable a riding animal he sends his patrons to David Brognanovich (building 10).

  6. Wheelwright (human/Terrance Pinel) has a thriving business keeping the wagons of used at the iron mine east of town in usable condition. Can make any kind of cart or wagon needed. Due to is workload it will be costly to have him make one. He currently is looking to hire anyone that can do repair work.

  7. Carpenter (half light elf/Mithren Elenath) Makes and repairs all kinds of furniture.

  8. Glassblower (gnome/Bran Gwyn) Makes fine lead crystal.

  9. Tobacconist (handvari/Rufus Nimblefingers) Imports tobacco from all over the Ducal Lands. Some believe [wrongly] that he deal in the banned narcotic Black Lotus.

  10. Ostler (human/David Brognanovich) Not only does he stable and shoe horses he also sells them. He always has five to ten riding horses for sale.

  11. Weaponsmith (dwarf/Ormenel Blackhammer) makes all kinds of weapons. His specialty is hammers and maces. There is a 20% chance of him having any bladed weapon asked for.

  12. Armorer (dwarf/Elanden Blackhammer) Cousin to Ormenel. He makes fine quality metal armor. He always had large amounts of chainmail so that he can fit and make a set of chainmail in four days or less.

  13. Clothier (human/Jim and Daisy Crebain) Most of their clothes are sturdy work clothes. They do have velvet, silk and satin to make fine clothes with but expect payment in advance.

  14. Plowman's Tavern (vartith/Dochan Kipel) This is just a simple farmer's tavern. Open for lunch and dinner only. No fine wines here only ale and beer is available.

  15. Rosedale's Inn (human/Rosey Hudson) this is a three star inn. Average meals and service is available here. Rosey sends those who need an animal stabled to David Brognanovich (building 10).

  16. Potter (human/Lusail York) this fine lady makes all kinds of pots and dishes from the white clay found southeast in the stream that runs near the Baron's Keep.

  17. Physician (human/Marcus Welby) uses mostly herbal medicines but if needed can use a spell to heal. He is an 8th rank physician.

  18. Horse Trainer (human/Garvin Waltson) sells and trains war horses. He also provides the mounts for the "Rangers".

  19. Charcoaler (half light elf/Sobrinth Elenath) is the younger brother of Mithrin (building 7). He provides the charcoal use by the ironworks.

  20. Ironworks (human/Stovan Scarmis) also owns an iron mine 10 miles east of the smelter located here. Makes of fine quality iron. He has been experimenting in making steel.

  21. Pig Iron Tavern (human/Kugan Palzer) This tavern (dive is a better description) caters to the workers at the ironworks across the road.
